actually suggests that this characteristic of the reserve auction process is a disadvantage to the SELLER. Seems to me that if the seller knew how high the bid really was, he (or she <g>) would be more likely to contact the bidder and see if something could be worked out.

Anyway, I agree with JB -- stick with us here; your opinions are valuable to the rest of us. And you can always do what I do and ignore posts on certain subjects (or by certain individuals).
