I think, according to The Secretary of State of the United States of America, that you, I or whomever else was born in this country are known as American Nationals, along with the "original" inhabitants of this country being [currently] Native Americans. Try not to take offense as to what the original inhabitants decide to call themselves, as they are not taking away from us -- but it was our European ancestors who took away from them by killing their woman and children, disrupting their homes, buried; took away their buffalo, pride and diseased them.
