The answers to your questions are in the thread starting with Steve Snowden's post regarding eBays's new policy on auctions with reserves. Robert Eisenstadt makes it quite clear as to whay a minimum bid is placed helow the actual reserve. I've agreed with most of what David Moore's thinking was with reserves exceopt for his thinking the seller should pay an additional $5.00. and I've agreed with most of what you have said, too, which you so stated in your opening of the post I'm responding to. I'd also like to make it quite clear that, I, too, agree with you that bargain hunters are not the scum of the earth. So, please do re-read everything in the posts....and if you should still not understand I will be more than happy to run you through it again.
