Good post, Robert. You are correct. We like to include most chips that say
Nevada in TCR, chiefly to inform what they are, so that a collector will know
that it is not an authentic casino chip. We try to label them what they are--
an Ad chip, a Souvenir chip, a Bar chip, a casino that was denied license,
a Fantasy chip, etc. We do not include plastic or aluminum "free plays" or
ad chips that have nothing to do with casinos or clubs such as Carlinos or
KFC. Most clay chips or BJones types are included if "Free Drink or Meal"
if connected to a real casino. We include all fantasy chips that say "LV or
a city in NV" to show collectors what they are. All of these are in TGT also
labeled Section 5 in our data base file. It is always a judgement call on our
part--to inform and educate as best we can. Thanks for your help. Allan
