Could someone please enlighten me.
I understand that chips for the most part are clay, and being in water a long time will make them swell and destroy them; but when it is said "do not use water" is it because the water being in contact a short time creates some damage or as a safety issue they are afraid that that person will not dry the chip completely and some parts of the chip can be damaged.
I felt that some water and liquid soap for a minute or two with a proper dry would be safe.
