I feel the ebay policy change will discourage some from using the secret reserve. But many will still use it. If the fee was $5 it would discourage far more. Another suggestion would be to institute a filter that would allow prospective buyers to filter out all secret reserve auctions. I, and I'm sure many others, would use it to filter out all such auctions and save our time for examing the items of sellers who are willing to be honest and open about their auctions.
