If both the clean & dirty chips looked the same as far as wear & neither had more nicks or damage than the other I would without a doubt take the dirty chip. I would rather clean the chip myself. I do know that Fantastik has worked fine for me & I have no need to change. As you say, Armor-All Cleaner might work fine for some, but I would rather stick to what I have been using. I have chips that I cleaned 4 years ago & can see no harm done to the chips in that amount of time. Now, I would also point out that if a cleaned chip was the chip I wanted or needed it would not stop me from buying it, I would use Fantastik on it myself once I got it home along with the Mineral Oil. That way, I know I was the last one to clean it using the method I like best. Andy - Las Vegas
