Josh - as has been mentioned by more knowledgeable collectors than I, the value of a chip is based on supply and demand. In most cases, lots of HR LE chips were sold but on the other hand there is a pretty good demand for them. Neither of these factors is likely to be affected (on existing chips) by how many chips are produced in the future.
