Not sure what a bird and suit mold is? Is that what we call the TBird mold?
The HHR was always Langworthys mold. Langworthy sold to Wico and they distributed HHR for awhile. Wico went bankrupt. The chip was made at The Burt Co in Portland Ma, now Atlantic Standard. AS now owns the HHR mold.
HHL was designed and sold by Bud Jones. The chip was also made at the Burt Co. Not sure if Bud still owns the rights to HHL or if the rights have reverted to Atlantic Standard.
HHR has been converted to injection mold for todays production. HHL has not.
Di Swirl has also been converted by AS
TriClub belongs to Gamblers General Store. It was always made at Burt until late 80's. GGS took the mold in the Chipco/Burt/Atlantic Standard deal in 1988.
Paul-Son took the diamond mold in the same deal.
A guy in NJ took the H mold.
Marion if Florida took the hourglass.
A unknown Reno distributor took the Small Key.
At this time only TR King and Paul-Son are capable of making chips from the old molds, without converting them to injection molds.
