A couple weeks ago I posted an offer to trade some white, red & blue crest & shield Elks 228 chips (Greater Spokane). Those trades have been completed. That's not the reason for the post. I found those chips in Plattsburg, NY, which I thought was odd--but Plattsburg had an AFB until recently so I surmised that an airforce type may have picked them up in Washington and carted them east. Today at our big outdoor show, I found another one. This one in a tray filled with chips--the dealer was from Fort Worth, Texas and said he got them at some Texas place. I had a white 228 that I picked up in either California or Minnesota in the late 1980's. They travel far, don't they.
