George; As I understand the new gaming regulations, limited edition chips still remaining on the tables in A.C. must be inventoried periodically.... which is why A.C. casinos are reluctant to issue new commemorative chips recently... unless they sell out quickly. They don't want to go through all the labor intensive bookeeping and paperwork that is associated with these "counts". The LE's that I have recently seen on Caessars tables aren't in anywhere near collectible condition that I would want to add any to my collection. Most are well-worn CHIPCO's of which several thousands were made. Contrary to a well-known "official" price guide in the hobby which lists common Nevada house chips at a base price of x; then automatically doubles the base price for grade y; then automatically triples the base price for grade z; without any regard for scarcity...... most A.C. CHIPCO's in excellent condition bring only a dollar or two more over those currently on the tables in poor condition.
