Re: Louisville History- Library telephone books

Probus's Was at The corner of Cane Run Road and Algonquine. The "coffee Club"
which is composed of a group of 70+ year olds, meets in a bar every morning for coffee and have been most helpful with local history. They relate that the fight [bar room brawl] started about 10 pm on Friday night and lasted until about 10pm on Sunday. You were free to enter or leave when ever you wanted [or could]. It was known to be hazardous to your Teeth and other body parts.
History buffs should find out where the Seniors have coffee and Join in. Lots of good information out there.
