When I was out on the Contessa yesterday I asked the boxman at the craps table why that was the only place they were using their new $1 chip. They had been using $1 slot tokens on all of my prior trips. He said, "Young man, crap shooters complained & #####ed about having those heavy tokens to carry around with them, so we decided to use cheques instead. They asked & we listened." I thanked him, first for calling me "young man", bought my quota of $1 chips & headed straight to the roulette wheel, where the dealer called me "Sir". He was older than the craps boxman!!!!! Go figure. Do you think casinos in Las Vegas would be so accomodating to their players?
