The Red Rooster listed in the old phone book was owned by Peter Lynn Hayes's Mother. For you young whipper chippers, he was a movie star and appeared on the earlier TV game shows like Hollywood Squares. The Red Rooster was billed as the 1st nightclub/roadhouse on the strip. I have several statements from old timers saying Benny Binion had a poker game there at one time. Mother Hayes was quite a lady from what I have read.
The Red Rooster became the Sans Socci, the Castaways, and ? - can't remember what it is now.
