The type designations on the Harrahs 100's are Howdy Herz' own, John. You can see pictures of them in Gaming Archaeology's auction catalog #22, page 44, of a couple of years ago. Frankly, I can't see most of the differences he does. I only go for the serif and sans-serif type faces as distinct types. I suspect some of the variations are from die wear when the brass cores were made. My
recollection is that all the varieties in that auction sold for about the same price. I'm not sure where TCR authors got their different value codes.
