Reposted/ Scan for your viewing of the MGM/Detroit "Baccarat" chips that were removed form the table in the morning of Opening Day. Absolutely prohibited from selling from the cage and am told they will not be comming back to the tables. They caused to much confusion. The Baccarat chips in $1, $5, $25, & $100 are oversized (scan showing regular house $1 chip) and inserts are not the same. The outside mold says MGM GRAND - BACCARAT incused. Also noteworth about the .25 cent chips. They were on only 2 mini-bac tables yesterday and after 8 hours could still not get a seat. The dealers refused to sell any at all as the most I saw at any time on a table was 8-10 in a rack. Cages says they do not have them and if they did, they wouldn't be able to sell them. Would guess the Baccarat chips should escalate in value quite rapidly as they are now impossible to get.
