Hi all
This is a repost of a message that somehow got dumped after only
being on the board for only a few hours. In that short time we had
already received support. If you could please reply previous posts,
we would like to keep track of responses.
As many of you know Bob Mera is quite sick and in need of bone marrow
transplant surgery. As Jim Reilly's prior posts read this is a very
costly and lenghty recovery procedure.
The Atlantic City Chapter has in excess of 300 active, paidup dues
members. I would bet that Bob has recruited 75% of these people. Now
its time to give something back.
At each AC Chapter meeting we conduct a 50/50 raffle. This is our
prime resource for club funds. We give 3 prizes and the top one is
always $100.00 or more. The club has deceided to donate its entire
share to help BoB. We have also deceided to open our raffle to the
entite chipping community to create a larger helping hand. Tickets are
sold at 3 for 10.00. We will print your name on the back of your tickets
and enter into the drawing.

Our next meeting is Sept 26th so checks must arrive by the 25th to be
entered.
This is truly a worthwhile cause for a fellow chipper,who needs our
support at this time. Bob is a true pioneer to the chipping community
and we want to keep him around for many years to come.
