One thing that keeps getting forgotten is that with any chip, a discovery of a small (or not so small) stash of chips can greatly effect the price of any "good" chip. Not to mention having control of an entire casino's chips like Jerry does...
If one wants to "Dump" the entire find at one, then the price drops like a rock. Yet over time as more collectors join in the fun, the price may creep back up.
Yet if you watch and listen, there are several "good" chips that are either being sold and resold (? for the same price no less - ya, right) a piece at a time - over a long period of time - thus resulting in the price remaining high. Which is better dumping or piece meal? ("That is a Hypothetical question of which I am not equipped to answer")
Makes one think...
