Steve; The generally accepted definition of a "token" in the numismatic community is something that can be exchanged for money, goods or services. So, in the broadest definition, what you have are merely silver medallions that have been issued by a casino. Now some folks more knowlegeable than me may disagree with that, but that is my understanding of the true definition of a token..... and one that I personally subscribe to.
