Prodigy - dead or alive ?

I'm posting this under a more appropriate subject than the "Chip Finds" thread it has been under during past few days.
I haven't always agreed with things Jim has had to say over the years, but I do compliment him for efforts in support of the Prodigy Classic bulletin board.
Sure, that board doesn't have the volume of posting that it used to, but there are still a "core" of collectors who started there, and who feel comfortable
there. "Veteran" collector names including Knapp, Landau, Jung, Goodrich,
Tomarchio, Lazarus, Markman, O'Neal, Piccolo, Porter, Skelton, Steffner, Thompson, and both Ginsburg's are only a few of the folks who still use that board, and still at least occasionally participate in the weekly chat/auction sessions on Thursday nights.
Posting efforts by Jim and others may not "save" it over the long haul, but at least they are trying. And, comments in support of Prodigy are in no way a "knock" against any other board. I commend both Greg and the Neal/Marty team at Chequers for all they have done for the rest of us.
