I thought it was because they had either a "Crest" or a "Seal" on them.<g>
The JSB chips should be called "Coat Of Arms" Chips. <g>

BTW, I am sure everyone knows, but just in case, the history of the JSB chips is in my last 3 columns on Chequers - Chequepoint. One more column for July will finish off the Arrowhead Story.
