I agree that having a board member resigning so soon after the election and convention is a bit unusual, yet the implied reason that the board member resigned is due to the convention being moved is contradictory to what Janice said in her original post:

"One of which WAS NOT, as some are trying to claim, the convention move to the Tropicana. My main objection is the CONTENTS of the Original Tropicana contract and the way the decision itself was arrived at."

Albeit it was right after the announcement...
