Travis & Michael; I just threw the question out for conversation.... not addressed to anyone specifically. I know of H&C chips that had holes in them that have been expertly repaired that one could not tell without the aid of a magnifying glass. The technique is quite simple. All one needs is a junk chip of the same color and grind up particles of the junk chip and make a paste with an adhesive and presto...... chip putty just like spackling a wall..... to fill in the hole(s). Most honest chippers would disclose that the chip had been repaired if it were offered for resale.
