I have never unwarped a warped chip. But I am troubled by Archie's question. If I had a chip that I had unwarped would I tell the prospective buyer that fact? Given my present state of ignorance, the answer would be "No--it sells as is." But what I do not know is whether a "unwarped" chip has characteristics that in time will cause it to degenerate. If that is true, then, Yes, I would be obliged to tell the buyer. So what is likely to happen to unwarped chips?
