Why anyone believes the eBay seller should say (ASSUME) there are 197 (or whatever) is beyond my comprehension. How would he know what the quantity is with this chip or with any other chip if the inventory is not his? How would he look to his buyers if he mentioned there's 200-pieces (of any chip, as I'm talking in general) to possibly learn later on that there are several more boxes? Don't get me wrong, here, as I'm not saying Michele is not telling the whole story behind the four colors, but what if the person she bougt them from is not telling her the whole story? What if I get a call from North Carolina saying someone in an antique mall has these chips? The "this is all I have" quantity game with antique/fle marhet dealers is as old as the hills. Too many of us assume everything we hear is 100% true. I've said it for years: Nobody has the right to mention (assume) what someone elses quantity is. The chip dealer should answer all questions about his/her inventory (especially on higher-priced material) but nobody has the right to quote inventory quantity if they do not know for sure.
