You might not be to happy if you just paid $300.00 for a chip thats
on the market for $50.00. When Pete bought these chips he knew how
many there were. At that point they were no longer rare. Chip people
like to believe that when someone has the goods, he tells the truth about
quantity. Aren't we supposed to be having fun.?? When you see most of
the ludicrus bids on Ebay it is from people who have a very few stars
after their name. They are new and uneducated to values. They dive in,
get burned, and say the hell with chips. Isn't the purpose of this board
to educate and guide the future blood who want to join because of the
good experiences in this hobby. As long as any top price to the seller
becomes the main event, a lot of novice collectors will get hurt.Sometimes
its the guy who has been around a long time who gets burned. Its hard to
know whats going on with the market flucations of every chip,regardless
how smart you think you are.
