Jim,
I have spoke to the VP of gaming ( He is also a friend) for a line that controls 45 ships. He is aware of chip collectors as he is one. I can guarentee a LE for the cruise, if we can put it together.
Which coast? Tough Question.
West if we are looking at saving air fare for the most chippers.
East if we want stops with casinos.
My friend tells me he has one departing Galveston Tx next year. (Right in the middle)
Mexico is a nice cruise but it does not compare to the Caribbean.
Alaska is the best but no casinos, unless you depart from Van Couver, and it is EXPENSIVE.
I could care less where it departs, I have been there and done that!! I have not been off the boat one time on my last 4 cruises. I use port time to sleep and rest up for the next days poker activity.
I bet we can get a price of 750 to 900 per person (7 day cruise) with air for a east coast departure. Remember this includes room, food, air, and transfers. We just booked a 7 day poker out of New Orleans on Carnival that starts around $500 plus air. Cruise line air is much more expensive than handling your own.
Lets wait and see if the club is interested before we take this too far.
If they pass, it could still be done.
