Chris, without being offensive can you please clarify a few points in your analysis of OUR club. This is by no means to question Janice's abilities, knowledge, and unselfish effort she has given to the club past, present, or future.

1. Why is it not OUR club anymore? When you speak of BIG business do you speak of the dealers in our club? I only know a few dealers who make their livelihood off of chipping. Aren't we all dealers? (according to Mel Jung's club article)

2. What major mistakes has this club made which is so detrimental to the membership? If majority rules, why have an elected board?

3. Do you mean to suggest that we have a corruptable newly elected President? What concerns and issues do you speak of?

4. You don't really want to divide this organization, do you?

5. I understand your position to credit Janice for all she has done for the membership, the organization, and the continued promotion of this hobby. But do you really want to do that at OUR expense or the newly elected board?

I'm sorry to see Janice step down. She must do what she must. She will be able to FREELY speak as a general member of this hobby. Janice has been a positive influence on our hobby which is reflected in her acceptance into the Hall of Fame, it's a great honor. She's stepping down, not going for another hip replacement (pun intended).
