To take care of all the rumors that are already traveling around the country I have an announcement to make.
As of July 6,1999 I have resigned as CC & GTCC Vice President and club historian. I will no longer have any part in the management of this club.

I will now be club member CH-008 and will have every right to ##### and complain just like the rest of you out there.

Many things have led up to this decision and it was by far the hardest one I have ever had to make in my entire 63 years of life.

One of which WAS NOT, as some are trying to claim, the convention move to the Tropicana. My main objection is the CONTENTS of the Original Tropicana contract and the way the decision itself was arrived at.

There are other things being decided that I do not agree with and will not be any part of. This club was founded for collectors by collectors and my main objective this entire eleven has been to maintain the collectors atmosphere. Big business is now taking over and THAT is what I will have no part of as I can already see the average collector will have no real place in the new high profile image.

I will still be here and will still do just as much as I have always done to see that the collector enjoys collecting. It will just be as a fellow collector instead of a club officer.

I thank you all for your support and friendship. I sincerely hope that all the very treasured friendships, both old and new, will not be affected in any way by this announcement.
