Welcome to the club and the board! While I am just a novice at roulette harvesting,(craps is more my game) I have tried to incorporate some of the suggestions made on this board into my efforts to "preserve gaming history"! <g>

I usually buy in for $60.00 (each chip being worth $1.00) and get three stacks of twenty. While playing my numbers with two stacks, I will secret away the other stack, a bit at a time, into a pocket. As someone here pointed out, it is harder to detect a whole, even stack missing from a table than say 2 or 3 chips.

I'm sure that someone else could be more detailed than I.
