So what's wrong with being from Montana?

There was a factory in Rapid City, once. All the employees were locals except one guy from Miles City, MT, named Joe. One day the boss comes in and finds Joe hanging from the rafters by his knees. Boss says, Joe, you get down here and get to work!" Joe says, "Can't." Boss says, "Get back to work right now or your fired!" Joe says, "I wouldn't do that if I was you." Boss says, "Get out of here right now and don't ever come back!"

Joe climbs down and heads out the door. Everybody else starts to follow. Boss says, "Hey, where's everybody going?" Someone turns around and says, "We can't work with no light in here!"

Which reminds me, anybody heard from Gene lately?
