Re: Sonoma Joe's Chips
In Response To: Re: Sonoma Joe's Chips ()

Hi Jim,

Ok I got out my Scott Hartman catalogue. I see that there is appearently a seralized Western Gambling set.

So that's another one I need.

Well, from what I heard about that $100 tourney chip you got from Mel. Only a few were made and SALTED in the pots by management.

Maybe, if Mel has another, I have more guides to trade..<G>

As far as Jung-Pfaender's book listing the Chinese New Year $2 and $10 Chips. Maybe they did what I have a bad habbit of doing... Copying a listing in the database and adding it but forgetting that there weren't two other types and not proofreading the results. And the Western Gambling chip not being listed in there, my question is what is the issue date of that book. I am not sure when or if they did a newer release which would have included it.

YIKES, Thanks for telling me! I found that $3 New Year's chip in a stack with my silver strikes. So I do have 35.

Here's a scan of the $3 Grand Opening chip.
