A few (big few) years back when I was an active soccer coach and referee, it was my pleasure to see Michelle Acres play as a pre-teen. She was "a cut above" even then but I had no idea should would turn into the best in the world. She is tougher than almost everybody, male or female. How many of our millionair male athletes could play with the pain she had from that shoulder injury. If you have ever had one, you know that every jolt is like a hot knife. I hope that if she retires now, that she will find a way to pass that dedication on to the next generation.
