On the topic of the Excel program, my major gripe with Microsoft is that they offer it for sale only as part of a larger package, I believe the package is named Office 2000, selling for close to $300. in many markets.
I like Excel, I use it for my chip inventory lists, but if I wanted to upgrade to the latest version, then Mr.Gates and friends would like to force me to buy much more than I would ever want, nor ever use. I would have no desire for other office programs that might be part of "Office 2000". They should offer Excel by itself for a reasonable proportionate price.
