Travis-my wife and I got hooked the same way. We normally just play craps, but after getting beat up at the tables for a while, we tried LIR just to kill time and slow the bleeding. We were up and down, hitting enough 2pr, etc to keep in the game. Then my wife hit a cold streak. When she lost her last chips, she said she was going to take a break. She had been playing red chips, I green. I said "one more hand"(a hangover from my "one more roll" technique at craps!) and put green chips in her circles. She was dealt 3-twos. The next dealer card was a 2. I yelled. My wife, who is from an asian country and knows nothing about poker hands or cards, started asking the dealer for another 2! I told her that's as good as it gets, collected 4100 with the bonus, and got hooked on LIR for good. Love to hear the music play!
