While "SC" could stand for something like Santa Clara and the other "C" for club, I'm betting that they came from a golf course given the golf clubs. My guess is that as they were found in the Santa Barbara area and that they are mint, they came from a golf course with a single name beginning with S. How about Solvang, near Santa Ynez or Sisquoc near little or nothing?
