Let it Ride is not a game I'd recommend to real gamblers; too great house odds. However, I play it for diversion here at the Turning Stone and in Vegas. Friends know I play it and I received this question. Does anyone know the answer--why there is no "tournament" version of the game presently in A.C. (Assuming that fact is true)? Here is what my correspondent asked.

"I just got a call from one of our local F.Ct. hearing
examiners. He was down in AC a couple of weeks ago, playing Let it Ride.
He said the red plastic circles for the bonus were on the tables but not
being played. He asked the dealer who said the designer of the game is
claiming that he also designed that and isn't receiving money for it so he
sued for some kind of infringement."
