... for the most part, Trav. And this copyright/trademark infringement stuff has gotten way out of hand. How any company can obtain exclusive use of a single word in the English language is beyond my comprehension.
And the new move afoot by which government bodies are attempting to enforce copyrights/trademarks in the names of the cities/states is even more mind-boggling. Well, maybe not so mind-boggling. What they are really angling for, of course, is the ability to charge licensing fees for use of the city's name.
Someone needs to put a stop to this. Unfortunately, it won't be our courts, which have completely abdicated their role as a third branch check on the power of the legislative and executive branches. American courts today are little more than rubber stamps for governmental land/money/property grabbing.
