To address one of your major concerns,if you remember when you drove to your new house,you drove up a slight incline toward the mountains.
Where we live,all the water drains down away from us. It rained hard here,but at this time 5:20 pacific the streets here in the north west are already dry.
But it is my understanding that the low land got flooded pretty good.
Remind me one day to tell you about our very own Charleston underpass.
