Larry, Have you ever answered a person on this board requesting a chip ID or approximate value, information which could be researched from a reference book? If so, (and I have not checked back in the archives,) then you are doing the same thing. In the same light, and probably more importantly, have you ever requested information regarding a chip that could be found if you purchased a piece of reference material.
If someone writes and would like an ID on a chip, bunches of people are giving info from the Gaming Table, Chip Rack, Eastmans Guide, and others. Isn't this cheating the author?
As far as I am concerned, one of the great benefits of being a part of this board, is that I can get answers to many of my questions immediately and without cost. In turn, I try to recipicate as much as possible.
