John; I remember my uncle Andy, who was a top insurance agent for Allstate Insurance Company (who was always wining contests on the sheer number of his annual policy renewals) telling me when I told him that the club was going to have their first convention at the Aladdin; "it will never happen, as they are going to tear the building down and build another". As we all know, it took years for that to happen. Not saying it couldn't happen sooner than later at Trop.... but look at every time an announcement of a new property goes into construction... or the casino name changes or undergoes new ownership. Everybody is awaiting the new chips. Steve Wynn's new property in A.C. won't come on-line till 2002.... he's not even started on the foundation yet.... the controversial tunnel is currently under construction, and there are those who are patiently awaiting the arrival of his new Le Jardin chips. <g>
