I read a story last week that Casino Aztar stock, which owns the LV Tropicana, is in play for a possible takeover. The stock rose about 10% in one day. The story speculated that the "older" Tropicana hotel was one of the few prime locations left for a new mega-resort on the strip. Another implosion coming soon? I personally don't care where the convention is held so long as we have SOME place to trade chips.
