I had email regarding the post above, pointing out that there are a number of similar eBay bidder "handles" out there. It appears the bidder/seller I wanted to comment on has changed his name again and was not the person bidding on the error chip. I apologize if I added to the confusion.

The retraction of the bid (without explanation) on the error-chip auction is another matter. No question, this is an unusual action and would appear to be contrary to eBay policy unless explained in the bid results.
