I recently aquired 4 chips from a non-collector. THese are from Tony's Vegas International (T.V.I.). I also received one dice (TVI) and two unopened decks of TVI playing cards. This casino was on Mohawk land on the border of New York and Canada. The owner, Tony Laughing was a Mohawk and is still in prison for smuggling cigarettes and booze into or out of Canada. This casino was burned down in an uprising in which people were killed. I believe this is the site of the new Indian Casino in New York.
Does anyone know anything about this place. I got all of this information (and chips) from a newspaper reporter that covered the riots. He said he was given this stuff by Tony Laughing while interveiwing him for stories. All of the chips but one have small drill holes in them. Denominations range from $1 to $100.
Information would be appreciated. I will scan one of the chips. All chips are the same design, just different colors. Has anyone seen these before. Thanks
