I hope you meant ten values for LE's. As for grades there are two and maybe three at the most. 1) From the Factory New 2) Unused from the cage 3) Like New, actually found in play. (G)
My view of chip grading is, we don't need it beyond basic description. It's subjective and only serves to divide. I will continue to grade my chips as like new, light use, used, worn, basket case. with additional notes for chipped, notched, drilled, canceled. What more does someone need to know?
When it comes to slabbed chips, I only want one. That's so I can carry it around and show people what chips look like, tell them I collect anything, and protect it from wearing out in my pocket.
