In an earlier post, I had some of the facts wrong about these chips. Robert Jackson in Overland Park Kansas has them. He got them from his father. His father was in advertising and was a friend of Jack Todd, distributor of the Diamond mold. He also handled advertising for the Jack Todd Co. Jack Todd gave Robert's father the chips. They have small (almost pin size) drill holes in the P chips. I had thought they were sample chips. Now I do not know why they were drilled. Robert has 121 of the Red Hubs, 66 of the Black diamond molds.
The chips were used at the Premier Club, 3130 Troost st, Kansas City Mo. The Hubs were delivered in 1936. The Lido Club was at 31st and Troost St and had Hubs delivered in 1936 also. This is an area I intend to take a closer look at in the future. I think there will be more history on Troost St.
Robert Jackson will ship the chips to anyone that wants them. I have the chips, got them from a chipper that got them from Robert. I have no interest in Roberts sale of these chips. In fact I have just mailed him a check for some to use as traders.
