At least Larry has chips from the Mapes. I've been looking (locally) for Bradley's chips for almost 10-years. Zilch. <g>
I've been lucky to have talked with over twenty people that were in the club (seasonal) from as far back as WWI: ex-mayors of Palm Beach, sons of deposed kings, as in Euro-trash (it was a big thing in PB, the woman fell for it) and a number of people that would lie through their teeth telling you the time of day, and not a one of them can describe any chip. Even the Whitehall Museum has nothing other than common poker chip on display.
I've also been invited to search several attics and crawl spaces of the homes of some very well known people from years past...Nothing. Some nice pictures though, but that was it.
