I have sent the Hub LDG for ID. I believe both chips are from the same place.
Mason ID will not tell us this, just a judgement call on my part.

The difference between the P and the LDG's are a JT salesman had both drilled samples of the P.
The LDG's are not drilled and could have been ordered from two different distributors at two different times.
This does not have to be the case as I obtained another set of salesman sample chips from a TK Specialty salesman. It had Horsehoe, Christy Jones Hat & Cane, Diamond, and Skey mold samples in it. Allan Myers obtained the same set from a different source.
As I said, we may never know.
