I have been given permission by Wayne to repost the following e-mail. I think that it is important that the attendees to the convention be given an idea what work goes into planning such an event.

It appears that my request of weather, price, accommodations and conveniences are the same as most people would like. But practicality prevails and as we have seen from the convention just passed, we have a most able chairman to make decisions for the rest of us. Any decision he makes will be more than acceptible by me, for one, and I expect most others.

Although the convention was only held a few weeks ago, I will remember for a long time how smoothly everything ran. If any complication did arise, none of us attendees were aware of it.

I think this posting should probably end this thread.
