I think Harrahs opened in the early 80's.
This should be one of their pre opening Fun Nite chips.
The chip is 39MM and clay compression molded.
That tells me it was made between the opening of Harrahs and 1988. John Kendall bought Burt in 1985 and sold the old molds and dies to Jim Blanchard in 1988.

Jim re-tooled and started making a little smaller chip and injection molded chips at that time. So the scroll is now placed in a US casino with approximate dates.
